Beware Of Waging Religious War
In The Name Of God
Introduction
Out of false zeal, many claim to be fighting religious war for God. They think that they are pleasing God by so doing. They never consider the fact that if God depends on man to fight for Him, then He is no longer God, but a puppet god. The fact remains that many of those fighting religious war were not sent to do so by God. They are following the false imaginations of their hearts, the deceptions of their leaders and the insinuations of the evil spirits, who are blood-sucking demons.
I Never Sent Them,
Says The Almighty
14 And the LORD said to me,
"The prophets (misleading, false and violent religious leaders) prophesy
lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them,
nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a
worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart. 15 Therefore thus says the LORD
concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, whom
I did not send, and who say (tot their followers), 'Sword and famine shall not
be in this land (you are on the Lords side)' 'By sword and famine those
prophets shall be consumed! 16 And the people to whom they prophesy (their
followers) shall be cast out in the streets of
17 "Therefore you shall say this word to them:
'Let my eyes flow with tears night and day,
And let them not cease;
For the virgin daughter of my people
Has been broken with a mighty stroke, with a very severe blow.
18 If I go out to the field,
Then behold, those slain with the sword!
And if I enter the city,
Then behold, those sick from famine!
Yes, both prophet and priest go about in a land they do not know.'"
Jeremiah 14:14-18
Signs Of Being Sent By God
Before a person can claim that God sent to accomplish a task, he must have:
1. Heard, directly, from God.
2. Seen God face to face.
3. Co-worked with God, for God does not send somebody alone. His presence (Himself) usually accompanies the person in the performance of the task. It was so in the life of Jacob and even so in the person of Jesus Christ.
4. God must have given the person something special as a sign to the people. For example, when He called Moses, He gave him a miracle staff; to King Solomon, He gave wisdom and wealth; to Joseph, He gave the administrative spirit; to Samuel, He gave the certainty of prophecy, for God did not allow any of his words to fall tot the ground; to Jesus, He gave the ability to speak with power and authority; etc.
5. Told the person to first go and warn the people to repent, if God intends to punish them, as He did to Niniveh.
Myself As An Example Of Being Sent By God
1. I have heard from God on several occasions.
2. I have seen Him face to face on many occasions, here on earth and in the heavens, more than forty (40) times.
3. I have worked with God several times. Either He is showing me something or teaching me things that are unknown before.
4. AS Jesus said, I likewise say the same thing that the Father has not left me alone. That is why I say,
I have come from the Father.
I have come in the Father's name.
Again, I shall return to the Father.
5. He has placed in my hand the everlasting staff, the ancient staff, which only the person who has it knows what it is. Also, He has given me spiritual knowledge and wisdom far more than any other human being.
6. In terms of warning the nations, He said, Go into the world and spread the light - It is time for you to start speaking, for many religions are like dead and rotten animal, which must be thrown away.
7. And I challenge any person who would like to investigate what I say, to take my name to any prophet or visioner in any part of the world, and ask him whether my claims are true or false. Those who have gone to verify, have come back confirming my claims.
Unknown to many religious warriors, they are being motivated by the demons, whose sole aim are to multiply war and murder against humanity and to lure the violent into the hell fire. And unknown too to many followers and believers, religious leaders do brainwash people into believing every man-made doctrine made at meetings, councils, synods and conferences. And they usually give people reasons on why the members should accept whatever the religious leaders say or do.
Jesus was indeed right when He said,
8 "These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
9 And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'"
Matthew 15:8-9
Again, He rebuked, saying,
13 "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees (religious leaders), hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. Matthew 23:13-14
15 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees (religious leaders), hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. Matthew 23:15
What Shall We Glory
In?
In what shall we glory? God has provided the answer through Prophet Jeremiah, saying,
23 Thus says the LORD:
"Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might,
Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
24 But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the LORD, exercising loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight," says the LORD.
Jeremiah 9:23-24
If you want to glory in the Lord, it is not by violence or war, but by the following:
1. Studying the word of God and being able to know it, not as taught by people using human reasoning, but as taught by the Holy Spirit, who is the only teacher of Truth.
2. Everyday acts of loving-kindness to your fellow man.
3. Good judgment.
4. Living a righteous life, to the extent that your light will so shine before men, who would therefore glorify God.
5. Having the above conditions as your everyday delight.
